On Target Sports, an Ohio sporting goods retailer since 1993, catering to the hunting and shooting enthusiast. Over the years I have found a few suppliers that offer unique products that not only provide exceptional quality but exceptional value as well. "ontargetsportsonline.com" was created to bring these selected products to the internet shopper as well as our in store shopper. ( OK, I want to make a few bucks as well). Each and every product that is show cased at "ontargetsportsonline.com" must meet this criteria, and you have these promises as well :
1: The very best security measures and policies are in place to
protect your privacy and online credit card information.

We extend
a 30day return/refund policy.
There are few catches to this so please read our "Return/Refund
Policy"
3: A promise to ship promptly or notify you if there is a
inventory problem.
While no store can stock all items
at all times we have a 90%+ order fill rate. We do not offer for sale items that
we cannot regularly order and keep in stock. If you see it chances are 90% +
that we have it in stock or will in just a few days.
4: We do not / will not knowingly sell
used items as new.
5: We do not exploit shipping charges by adding a profit to
them and in many cases cost more to ship then is charged, there are never handling or
material fees and we absorb the shipping cost when your In-Stock product purchase
is $100 or more.

Our
return/refund and Special Order policy:
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase so we
extend a 30-day return/refund policy with the following small print.
a)
We
are unable to offer a refund or exchange for any item that shows use, no
exceptions.
b)
If purchasing optics please read this.
Free shipping:
Free Shipping as it applies to the Lower 48 States.
On all In-Stock product orders $100 or more.
Free shipping does not extend to firearm purchases but
only products ordered through our e-store while online or e-store products
ordered by phone or fax.
Free shipping as it applies
to Alaska and Hawaii is as follows;
Where shipping cost are $8.00 or less
free shipping still applies.
If shipping cost are over $8.00 then a credit of $8.00 will be applied to shipping cost over this amount.

Warranty:
All
products that
are in need of warranty must be returned to the factory.
All refunds will be for the product only and
cannot include any shipping charges. Exception
Please note:
We ship all online ordered items at no additional charge if the
purchase is over $100 (Lower 48 only). In the event that a refund/exchange is wanted for
items that were shipped at no additional charge or a portion of that order is returned bringing the
order below $100, invoiced shipping charges or actual shipping charges which
ever is higher will be deducted from
the refund.
On orders under $100 standard shipping charges currently run from
$6.25 to $8.00.
Where
we shipped in

If a
refund is requested where we shipped incorrectly
ontargetsportsonline.com will reimburse the entire amount plus shipping cost to
return the product.
If an exchange is preferred where we shipped incorrectly
ontargetsportsonline.com will ship the correct product at no
charge
and pay shipping to return the incorrect product. END
Refund or exchange when merchandise is
received defective or deemed unusable.
On items that
you might receive that are defective out of the box as you received it or deemed
unusable and not a
result of
becoming defective or unusable are covered in this manner with no exceptions.
NOTE: Night
vision and/or other optics are not returnable for refund and/or replacement for any
reason other then
where we shipped a different product from what you ordered, in this
circumstance ***

If received defective:
a) We need to be made aware of this within 7 days from date of delivery.
b) Item must be returned to manufacturer for repair or replacement.
c) If found to be truly defective we will pay for standard return shipping charges (Up to $8.00).
Please
note that some manufacturers charge a service charge for service under warranty.
As received, defective products are very, very rare, however rare, this is still very inconvenient
and admittedly
annoying, thankfully not life changing, so please be understanding. We all get caught
sometime.

1: Premium shipping charges you may
have paid are not refundable or covered under replacement.
2: If you would accept a replacement we will pay normal shipping
cost to you and
for the return of the
defective item.
a) If you prefer a refund then you will be responsible for return
shipping cost, all returned item/s must
be insured. We will be happy to
mail a pre-paid return label if you like and this cost will be deducted
from the final refund amount.
b) If the item was shipped by us at no
cost, actual shipping or our cost based shipping charges (which ever is
higher)
will be deducted from the
refund.
c) There can be no refund or
exchange on any items received defective or deemed unusable after 30 days,
after this time
they
must be returned to the manufacturer
if defective. END
All other refund/exchange
policies.
1: Product must be returned pre-paid
as new, and complete with all papers and included accessories.
We realize that some factory packaging cannot be opened with out ruining the
original packaging, when this is the case we will not deny a refund. Such is the
case with many plastic clamshell style cases.
2: We
do not deny a refund/exchange because you returned an item in 35 days
instead of 30 days, remember we want you to return as a happy customer. However,
there has to be some time limit on return or refund
privileges for my sake, this limit is 60 days from date received, I am sorry but
there will be no exceptions.
3: We do
not charge a restocking fee. (a) Exception
a) Items returned for refund after 40 days will
incur a 15% re-stocking fee. END

We do require this of you:

Do not fill out warranty cards unless you intend to keep the item.
· Please open all packages carefully so as not to tear any packaging or contents including paperwork should you want to return it. Remember we need to sell this product AS NEW. If the package resembles one opened by a gorilla it may be necessary to deny the refund and return the product to you.
· Include the reason for return and copy’s of any paperwork you might have, it doesn’t have to be fancy, 'I didn’t like it' Is plenty good but an expanded reason for return would help us provide you with quality products and service. END

Note:
Special Order
means that we do not stock this item, and while we are very happy to order it
for you, we are unable to offer any return or refund considerations. Of course
all factory warranty's still remains in effect. Please feel free to call if you

Importance
of the billing address being correct.
1) This is important because with out a match the order will
not be processed.
2) Could be the result of a typo and then shipped to a wrong address.
3) Credit card processors do not like a history of businesses processing cards
where there is not an exact address match.
4) I get penalized, by the Credit Card processor for up to 1% of the sale.
5) It involves substantial wasted time:
a. Processing the card
b. Voiding that transaction.
c. Contacting the customer to correct the address mis-match
d. Waiting for the reply.
e. Reprocessing the card all over again.
note: Not all credit card
issuers participate in Address Verification, this is known at the time of
processing and an exceptions is made.
6) Items ordered can be come unavailable while waiting for a reply with the
correct address.
7) Even though a transaction is voided it can reduce your available funds from
your account, this can take up-to 14 days to release.
8) Credit card fraud is rampant, this exact address match
verification is for both our protection.
Having recently moved is frequently the cause for the address mis-match when
processing. When moving, a Postal forward
request will not be sufficient, you need to call your credit card issuer and update the billing
address.
A $3 service fee added to all Product orders under $20

The following break down will I hope explain the
necessity to add a service fee to product orders under $20.
Many of the lower priced items I sell provide only a
35% markup. If it cost me 5.50 and I mark it up 35% I will make $1.93
gross profit bringing the sale price to $7.43. my expenses to process the credit
card for this sale is 2.29% or .17cents plus .25 cents for each credit
card transaction bringing my gross profit from to $1.93 - .42cents to $1.51. I
will not bore you with the steps it takes to process an order but it involves at
least 10 minutes per order or 6 an hour if things go perfect and they rarely do.
This equates to $9.06 an hour gross profit, I think you will agree that this is simply
unacceptable.

this but here is the long and short of it :
We do not give, sell, share or loan any of your personal information that you entrust to us that is not necessary
for the completion of your order. We make certain when required that our suppliers do the
same. We do not Spam, and any unsolicited emails from us are for the express
purpose of completing your order. If you wish to receive limited emails
pertaining to specials you can select that option during the
checkout.
Personal information
that is required for purchases, name, address, phone number, credit card information,
e-mail address is collected over a 'Secure Server' and is stored in a 'Secure
Directory'
that is 'Unique Name' and
'Password' protected. All credit card numbers are additionally protected with 128 bit
encryption within the 'Secure Server' directory. What
this means is that in the extremely remote possibility that unauthorized access
to the 'Secure Directory' is successful it would still be virtually impossible for anyone to decipher the
encrypted credit card numbers. Credit card information is further protected by
deleting it from
our 'Secure Directory' data base, this is commonly done with in minutes of your
order being placed or within a few hours but never over 24 hours.

NOTE: Communication is frequently necessary and I would ask that you double
check all Telephone numbers, Addresses, Zip codes and PLEASE
use your primary ISP email address as
secondary email address are unreliable, can take days to get or
receive emails and too often I get important email
returned with "user unknown" or "user inactive". REMEMBER
I do not share addresses nor send unsolicited emails.

(Q) Are your prices really lower or is
this just another sales pitch.
(A) No it isn't, I spend a great deal of time online checking to
make sure this is not false.
Of course the web is a big
place and I cannot check prices every where but rest assured my prices are low
ball and are
true discounted, that's why you will rarely see our prices ending in .99 .98 or .95
(what a scam).
We further protect your pocket book by offering
no charge shipping when sale is over
$100. No where do I know of that offers this with our same low prices. We also do not
add profit to shipping charges nor charge for handling.
(Q) If I order by phone will I get the same low prices as
ordering online.
(A) You bet.
(Q) I wonder how much trouble
I will have if I need/want to return an item.
(A) We go to a lot of
effort to describe our products accurately, and we never will sell junk, consequently returns
are rare. When that time comes we
will attend to it just as quickly as if it were a purchase.
(Q) I found a price
elsewhere that is lower but I have to pay shipping, will you match the price and
still ship free if over $100?
(A) I tried this but in too many cases my competitors had very low prices
and then added exorbitant shipping cost, there is no way to fairly deal
with this consequently this policy is no longer in effect. When pricing please look at the total delivered price and
you will see in almost all cases ontargetsportsonline.com does and will continue to save you money. We do not
add profit to our shipping and we do not charge for handling.
Example: I just ordered gun parts from a web
company, they charged me $11.95 S&H, when I received it I saw where
they shipped it
third class USPS at a total cost to them of .80 cents.
(Q) Will you ship
promptly?
(A) We will ship ASAP, Orders received by 2:30pm est will normally
ship same day or next business day at the latest, and we will notify
promptly if there is an inventory problem.
(Q) I don't see what I
want , will you special order?
(A) You bet we will and still price it low !.
(Q) Do you ship COD?
(A) I am sorry but we do not offer COD's payments at this time..
(Q) If I email you will you
answer promptly ?
(A) I know how annoying this is since my experience is that most do not
reply at all. I check for email every 90 minutes or less and will answer promptly, usually
within no more then two hours during normal business hours. The truth is I am
about the only site that if you leave an email on Saturday night at
11:30pm you will have a real good chance of getting a reply right back.
